This summer, the Red Cross’s need for blood donations jumped from a critical level to an emergency need. In such urgent times, the Saratoga Casino Hotel will be hosting a blood drive with the American Red Cross to help save thousands of lives across the United States.
National Blood Shortage
With vacations and a hectic summer schedule, fewer people have been heading out to blood drives to donate blood. In the months of May and June, the Red Cross experienced a shortfall of more than 56,000 blood donations. This has resulted in an emergency need, and the Red Cross is asking both new and previous donors to come out and donate their blood.
Donate Your Blood At Saratoga Casino Hotel
Visit Saratoga Casino Hotel on Monday, July 23rd to donate blood for a good cause. In the past, Saratoga Casino Hotel has collected more than 1,400 blood donations at their biannual blood drive, helping over 3,200 individuals in need. All donors will receive a $10 voucher to Perks Café, located in Saratoga Casino Hotel’s lobby. Perks Café serves Starbucks coffee and other signature drinks.
