During the Opening Weekend festivities at Saratoga Race Course, it will once again be time for you to show off your best head topper at the annual Hat Contest. This event is a Saratoga tradition, and it will be held on Sunday, July 14, at the historic racetrack.
Dress to Impress at the Race Course
Presented by Moet & Chandon and Hatsationa!, the 28th Annual Hat Contest will welcome contestants to showcase their most creative and fashionable head toppers. This year’s categories include Kreative Kids for fans 18 and under, Fashionably Saratoga for elegant and stylish hats, and Uniquely Saratoga for unusual and original creations.
In a press release, NYRA Senior Vice President and Chief Experience Officer Lynn LaRocca said, “Given the changes to this year’s racing schedule, we want to ensure that fans save the date for this well-known event, which will continue to be part of Opening Weekend festivities at Saratoga Race Course.”
Opening Weekend will run from Thursday, July 11 through Sunday, July 14.
